What To Give

Cash gifts

The most common and simplest way to support Sabu International School  is with cash gifts—typically gifts by check.

 Main Benefits: We both benefit when you make a check donation by check, credit card or currency. Your donations help us to address the immediate urgent needs and meet the mission of supporting the schools educational programs.

 The benefits of cash donations include

  • You will be able to see the impact of your donations
  • Decide how your gifts can be used
  • Get a charitable deduction on your federal income taxes

 In- Kind Giving

Sabu International School  accepts  both new and lightly used items gifts-in-kind. A lightly used items are anything that are in good shape and do not need repairs.

 We accept the following items

Office Equipments

Classroom supplies

Furniture

Medical Supplies

Miscellaneous

Delivery/collection

Equipment can be dropped off at our storage at East Market Street, in Harrisonburg between the hours of Monday through Friday from 9am and 6pm seven days a week.

For large volumes of computers (10-80) and other in-kind donations items we can arrange collection, and welcome donations to contribute to the cost at your will. We accepts items from individuals wishing to donate from further afield.

 Please contact us by phone on 540-435-0792 or fill out the donation forms and tells us  about the items you are donating.  

Press and Publicity

For business donors and individuals we do issue press release about donations we receives to raise awareness about our generous donors and supports. We will be more than happy to issue you copy.

Time

Volunteer your time to come to the school in Guinea, raise funds for Sabu, or serve on the board. Contact US today.   

Sponsorship

Sponsor a student’s $150 a year or teacher for $120 a month.
